Claymation is a combination of 'Clay' and 'animation.' In this workshop, we use modeling clay to create figures, which will later appear in short films. We use the simple and accessible stop-motion technique, so everyone can participate.
Modeling clay is an easy and fun material to animate with, and even a small, simple ball can have a lot of personality once it starts to move!

Modeling clay is an easy and fun material to animate with, and even a small, simple ball can have a lot of personality once it starts to move!
A few things to consider:
- Age recommended: This workshop is for 8 year olds and up, small children will not be able to do Claymation
- Limited capacity: The event is free to attend, but we have limited capacity so we as you to please sign up to reserve your spot. IF you cannot attend, please send a cancellation notice at latest the day before at 12:00 so we can send your spot to someone on waiting list.
- No show fee: There will be a 250kr fee to pay per sign up if you do not show up to the event
- One parent per family: Because of limited space we ask that only one parent accompanies the participating children
- App to download: There is a free app that is recommended to download if you with to use your own mobil phone to record the animation part of the workshop. Otherwise ipads will be available.
