Subscription
When you subscribe to International Community’s services, we register a number of personal data about you, including:
- Name
- Job title
- Contact information
We collect this personal data in order to manage your subscription, inform about services and our activities, and to improve our relationship with you. If you provide the contact details of someone other than yourself for the subscription, you are responsible for ensuring that consent has been obtained to share that person's personal data with us.
We store your personal data for as long as they are relevant to the purpose for which they were collected or to meet any legal obligations.
Event Participants
If you register for an event through International Community—either our own events or events where we handle registrations—we process your personal data, including your name, workplace, and contact details. We do this to execute the event, inform you about changes, and contact you afterward for feedback and to inform you about our activities.
In some cases, we may need to request sensitive personal data, such as allergies in connection with catering arrangements.
If you register someone other than yourself for an event, you are responsible for ensuring that consent has been obtained to share that person's personal data with us.
Photo and Video Material
When you attend our events, we take photos and record videos for use in our newsletters, on social media, on our website, or in press releases. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, you can contact us to request not to have your image displayed, or you can inform us of your wish before or during the event or activity in which you are participating.
Video and Photo Material of Children
International Community organizes events with the participation of families and children. In some cases, photos and video material of children under 18 years of age will be taken at the events. If, as a parent or guardian, you do not wish for videos and photos of your child/children to be used on International Community's social media, newsletter, and website, you can inform us of this before or during the event.
Collaboration
When you collaborate with International Community, we register personal data about you that is necessary for establishing or maintaining a partnership with you and to inform you about our activities.
We store your personal data for as long as they are relevant to the purpose for which they were collected or to meet any legal obligations.
Other Contact with Us
When you contact International Community by writing to our main email, calling our main number, filling out a contact form, or by calling or writing to employees at International Community, we store personal data about you to be able to respond to your inquiry and to inform you about International Community and our activities.
Newsletters and Other Marketing
When you sign up to receive our newsletter and other information from us, we collect and process information about you to send you relevant information.
You can always unsubscribe from our newsletter and be removed from our distribution lists by contacting us via email or phone.
Recruitment
If we receive application materials from you—either unsolicited or in connection with a job posting—we process standard personal data about you. This may include your photo, CV, and contact details, etc.
International Community will never ask you to provide sensitive personal data in your application. If you voluntarily provide sensitive personal data such as political beliefs, union membership, ethnicity, or similar, we interpret this as consent to process this personal data in connection with recruitment for International Community.
In some cases, we share your personal data with third parties, such as recruitment companies, software providers, or similar. We do this to facilitate the recruitment process.
We store your personal data until the recruitment process is completed. In some cases, with your consent, we may store your personal data after the recruitment process is completed to contact you regarding future job openings or similar.
