Cooperations

International Community is an integrated part of Erhverv Aarhus (Aarhus Business Network). From our base in Aarhus we cooperate with companies and organizations throughout Denmark in a joint effort to make it easier for international employees and their families to settle and live in Aarhus and Denmark.

Local cooperation

Strong cooperation with the local community, businesses, cultural institutions, clubs, and associations is an essential aspect of International Community’s work. Together with our local partners, we offer our members a wide range of events and activities.

Lead partner of regional project

From March 2012 to June 2015 International Community was the lead partner and coordinator of the project, ‘Modtagelse og fastholdelse af udenlandsk arbejdskraft II" (Receiving and retaining international employees).

The project included organizations from all 19 municipalities in the Region. The project was initiated byVækstforum in Central Denmark Region and supported by the European Social Fund and a wide range of public and private players in the Region.

The purpose of the project was to improve the conditions for recruiting and retaining international employees and their families in the Region.
