By now, you will have explored your skills, your values, your knowledge/ interests and your personality. Moreover, you have used networking and your mentor to identify relevant job areas.
Mostly your Job Goal Areas are business areas or sectors – like the building Industry, the food Industry, the consultancy business, etc. – because this is what your network can relate to.
Don’t be too specific by using job titles and don’t be too broad by using competence areas such as “the administrative area”, “working with people”, and so on.
You now have your job goal areas and they are the foundation on which you build your job seeking and networking effort in the next steps.
