It can be difficult to enter a new labor market and especially the Danish labor market, since most jobs are conducted in Danish – so if you don’t speak the language, we would recommend you to learn Danish as fast as possible.
Another difficult aspect of the Danish labor market is that a lot of jobs are not announced, so you need to create a broad network and be visible in order to dig up the job opportunities that are relevant for you.
We thus recommend you to use networking as a big part of your job hunting process and will here give you some input on how.
If you are now thinking; “well, I don’t have a network in Denmark”, you are wrong! You have your neighbors, friends, your spouse’s colleagues, people you know from your children’s school, from sports, and so on. And you have your network from abroad who might know relevant people in Denmark or somebody who knows people in Denmark…
