Daylight Saving Time!
Twice a year, Danes adjust the time to make the most of the hours of sunlight –also called summertime, regular time, and daylight-saving time.
Summertime begins this Sunday at 02.00.
When local standard time is about to reach 02.00, clocks are turned forward
1 hour to 03.00 - so remember to set all your clocks forward an hour by Sunday morning!
This means that sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour later on March 29 than
the day before.
Danes have a certain way of remembering if time has to be put forward or backwards
involving garden furniture!
In the spring you put the garden furniture forward (on the porch) and in the fall it goes back (into storage).
