ARoS Free Friday: Jorn/Kirkeby

ARoS opens the exhibition JORN/KIRKEBY and offer everyone free of charge inside ARoS.

The exhibition JORN/KIRKEBY focuses on the kinship and differences of the two Danish giants in their approach to painting and to being a painter. By opposite, by putting works by Asger Jorn (1914 –1973) and Per Kirkeby (1938 –2018) opposite each other, their individual and unique approach to painting will appear in a brighter light – from Jorn's violent untamed abstractions to Kirkeby's thoughtful and more controlled approach.
