Daylight Saving Time

It's that time when we need to move our clocks ahead as we look forward to longer days and warmer weather. The change will take place on Sunday, March 31st at 2:00 in the morning. We will have to move our clocks one hour ahead.  In fact, the Danes have an amusing way of remembering if the clocks need to move ahead or need to get moved back.

Den klassiske huskeregel går på havemøbler: Om sommeren skal de sættes FREM - om vinteren stilles de TILBAGE.
When translated to English, this expression means that the key to remembering lies with the furniture: during the summer, the furniture needs to go outside, or move forward; but during the winter time, the furniture needs to go back inside, or move backwards. It's a light-hearted way of trying to remember in which direction the hour clock is supposed to go towards.
