Spouse Community Update Week 3

Tak for sidst!

Last week, we had our first Afternoon Coffee of the year at the Merchant Room! We were so happy to see a big crown and are looking forward to more events to come!

Event Highlight: Shiatsu Workshop

Date: 06 February 2019
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
Location: FO Byen, Room 003, Vester Allé 8, 8000 Aarhus
Price: DKK 295.00

Very often we feel the stress and strains of our daily routine in our body and mind, but there are several techniques to relieve them. We have our own Spouse Community member, Nick Duggan who wants to share his expertise on Shiatsu therapy with us and teach us methods to improve the health and well-being of ourselves and our loved ones.

This event is free open to both members and non-members. Read more and sign-up here.

We’d love you to join us! Spouse Community Aarhus is a community of enthusiastic international spouses and accompanying partners from all over the world that have settled in Aarhus and made this city our home. Anyone can become a member of Spouse Community Aarhus, whether you or your partner are internationals or Danes. We are lucky enough to have members of many ages and nationalities, both men and women, and some working or volunteering in Aarhus.
We are a non-profit volunteer-based organization and our nominal membership fee of 100kr per year (that’s about the price of two coffees!) goes directly back into putting on our events - so the more members we have, the more awesome events!
As a member you’ll also receive invitations to all our Spouse Community Aarhus events which are free to members (or in the instance there is an entry fee or ticket needed, we negotiate the best price possible for our members), and access to our members-only Facebook forum, a place to connect with members, ask questions and seek advice, and share events and articles.

Location: M3.7, Level 3, Dokk1, Hack Kampmanns Plads 2, 8000 Aarhus

Open to Spouse Community Members* and partners only
For the second part in our Danish Living series we dive into Danish traditions and activities you may experience as you settle in Denmark. As an international in Denmark, you must have already noticed how Danes are strongly rooted to their traditions, customs and festivals. When you are invited to any of the occasions, you may be confused about how things are done in the Danish way and how you want to present yourself. Hence, we are collaborating with our member, Lisbeth to give us a session on how to embrace Danish traditions and activities. For more information and to sign up, click here.
