What is a Spouse? projectWe at Spouse Community Aarhus consider ourselves as international individuals, who have fearlessly entered the Danish culture with the hope of thriving in Aarhus alongside our partners. Our 'What Is A Spouse?' project was launched at our one-year anniversary. The project is a compilation of inspiring stories from ‘spouses’ like you who have done just that.
Each month we’ll bring you a new experience from spouses who have made Aarhus their home. For this month, read about Irena, a 29-year-old from Ukraine who met her Danish husband in 2012 and decided to settle in Denmark. She channelled her passion to start the Creative Women’s Club. She has shared her experience of settling and exploring various opportunities in Aarhus. Read more by clicking here.

Insta-takeover by Joanna!Over on our Instagram we are giving the world a peek into the lives of spouses in Aarhus! Every month one of our members will takeover our Instagram to share everything from their daily lives, to hidden gems around the city. We have such a diverse membership, and everyone experiences Aarhus differently – so this is a great chance to see how others have made this city their home.
Currently Joanna is sharing a week in her life – including some of her favourite things to do around town! Follow her journey at @spousecommunityaarhus.
If you’re a member who would like to do an Insta-Takeover, we’d love to hear from you! It doesn’t matter if you’re completely new to Instagram, we’ll find an easy way to tell your story: email@example.com
