The first constitution was signed on June 5th, 1849 and then later it was revised and signed again on June 5th, 1953. In the tenth century, Denmark established a monarchy making it one of the oldest in the world. However, Denmark became a constitutional monarchy in 1660 shifting the influence and decision making from the monarchy to the government. In actuality, there have been five constitutions each getting revoked when a new law has been approved.
