DESCRIPTION: Aarhus, the European Capital of Culture 2017, offers a wonderful choice of city wall paintings (murals) which have been painted by well-known international and local artists, and awesome public sculptures which sometimes hide in the city centre, just under our nose. Therefore, Aarhus Explorers invite all public art enthusiasts and city tourists to enjoy the City of Smiles and this time to focus on art wandering through the central streets of Aarhus and listening to stories and fun facts about the city sights. The walk ends with a visit to the interior of Hejmdal, the only building in Denmark designed by the starchitect Frank Gehry.
Bring your friends, snacks and other city walk’s essentials and come to Aarhus Explorers first walk of the season!
