Denmark is on a Holiday
You may have noticed that things have slowed down in Denmark this month. There is less traffic in the mornings and more people in the city center. The period around July is typically the Danish holiday month, with many employees taking advantage of the weather, going abroad or enjoying a few weeks in a summerhouse. Most businesses will be running on a skeleton workforce, and you can expect to receive many out of office emails!
It is also agurketid (“silly season”) in the newspapers, with strange or funny stories filling the pages during the slow news days.
So instead of stressing, just relax in the sun and wait until August comes and Denmark start working again.
