Parenthood in today's globalized world is an exciting journey for everyone that takes this path. And raising a multicultural home is definitely the highlight of it.
Nevertheless, it is a road that requires a good amount of tools to allow everyone involved get the most out of it. It also requires a big load of patience and most importantly a strong commitment from all parts, so when the challenges arise you are ready to tackle them.
Join us in this talk where you will get to learn different methods for raising multilingual children, some practical recommendations to put in practice the techniques at home right from the start, according to your family goals, and most importantly get to break down the myths that usually surround multilingualism.
The guest speaker will be Daniela Trifiletti, Colombian mom of 2 living in Denmark for the last 6 years. She will give you insights about her daily family life where Spanish, Danish and English are spoken as primary languages, and Swedish and Italian as background languages.
