International Debate Club

Date: 16 March 2020
Time: 17:00 - 18:00
Location: Room M1, DOKK1, Hack Kampmanns Plads 2, 8000 Aarhus C

What's up in Danish society and politics?

Come join library worker (and native Dane) Sara and learn a little more about Denmark. Each meeting begins with a short intro to a few topics currently making the news. Afterwards you can ask questions, talk freely about the topics, discuss Denmark vs. your home countries, etc.

This time we will talk about society and family life.

Emmeri - who came here from the US but has lived here for twelve years - will share some of her experiences with raising children in Denmark.

Afterwards we can discuss whatever issues you choose - like the daycare/kindergarten/school system, parental styles, worklife balance, etc.

The atmosphere will be casual/informal and we will combine discussion with hygge! Read more here

The events are held in English.

No preparation necessary - but remember to book a free ticket.

NB: International Community is partner on this event, but it is hosted by DOKK1 and Aarhus Library.
