Exploring Danish Traditions

Date: 23 January 2020
Time: 17:00 - 19:00
Location: Trøjborgvej 82-84 Building 1912, room 114, 8000 Aarhus C

'Exploring Danish Traditions' is a new initiative by the UIC and International Community, where we invite internationals to hear Danes share some of the most popular traditions and celebrations in Denmark.

On this first event, we will hear all about celebrating a birthday the Danish way. The talk will include insights about what is so special about round birthdays, the role of the national flag, the different types of cakes available for this day and last but not least how do you plan and execute a party for adults and small children.

We aim at not only learning from the Danes this day, but also to put in practice some of those insights they share with us.

Please sign-up for this interactive workshop and please inform us if you cannot attend, this due to preparations and catering.

Coffee and tea will be served.

We look forward to seeing you!

NOTE:
Pictures will be taken throughout the event, which can eventually be used for creating printed or online material for the UIC, shared on our Facebook Page or as images in the UIC newsletter. In case you do not wish to be photographed be sure to let us know.
