International Citizen Service

There is a lot to take care of when you arrive in Denmark as an employee or job seeker - from paperwork and practical issues to questions about where to network with other interntionals and Danes.

International Community and the other organizations at International Citizen Service (ICS) aims to make the process as easy as possible by gathering the most important authorities in one place.

The ICS offers help with residence permits and registration certificates, tax card, social security number as well as with personal guidance on job seeking, Danish courses, the Danish tax system and more.

ICS is run by Work in Denmark in Aarhus.

The story behind ICS

International Citizen Service is an initiative based on International Community's former One Stop Shop. This service was a cooperation between International Community and SKAT (the Danish tax agency), The Regional State Administration of Central Denmark and Citizens’ Services Aarhus. Together we initiated the first One Stop Shop service in Denmark including all three public partners.
