International Community works for the companies in Eastern Jutland as a valuable resource for knowledge and support in relation to recruitment and retention of international labour.

We offer services for both companies and international workers. As a company you can become a member and get support for recruiting and retaining international employees. You can share knowledge and gain new insight in working with international labour at our Morning Seminars. We are also your extended HR function, who offers practical assistance for your international employees along with social and professional networks, newsletters, an online community and events.

The extended HR Function
We offer the HR function and international employees a wide range of practical information about working and living in Denmark, which makes it possible for the companies to work more efficiently, when it comes to attracting, welcoming and retaining international employees.

International Community is here to support the employees’ stay and make them feel at home. Among other things, we offer the employees social activities, a community for spouses, seminars on life in Denmark, a weekly newsletter and practical assistance for life in Aarhus. The One Stop Shop unifying SKAT, State Administration for Central Jutland and Citizens’ Services Aarhus in one central point of access to relevant authorities is one example. 

The Vision
The strong support from companies, educational institutions and public authorities creates the conditions to further develop the region as a lighthouse with weight and potential, which is attractive to international labour. The commitment is the foundation of achieving our vision: To create best practice in working with attracting, welcoming and retaining international employees and their families in the Aarhus region. Best practice that will reverberate locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
